MEET Joshua P. Ward, Esq.
President & Managing Partner
Joshua founded this law firm in 2015 with hopes of establishing a prominent plaintiff’s firm. The firm grew rapidly through representing thousands of PA residents against multi-billion dollar companies, banks and insurance providers. Joshua has negotiated millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. Joshua has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, Rising Star, in 2020 and 2021. Joshua has been featured in many local and national news publications for prosecuting notable cases. Josh’s efforts, along with his team, place this firm on the cutting edge of the legal field. His team has effected major changes by providing greater access to justice for many PA residents. Joshua and his team are leaders in the fields of personal injury, employment law and consumer protection.
Josh graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh prior to earning his Juris Doctorate at Duquesne University School of Law in 2014. While attending law school, Josh was a Trial Advocacy Champion, but also received the highest individual award as, “First Place Advocate for Excellence,” from The Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County in 2014. He was also a member of the Duquesne National Trial Team and participated in the Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition in addition to the Gourley Cup in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
In 2012, Joshua was invited to, “Write On,” to the Duquesne Law Review, an honor only awarded to the top 15% of the law school class. He also received awards for Outstanding Brief and Oral Argument from the Duquesne Legal Research and Writing Center in the same year.In 2014, Joshua was honored with the Shalom Moot Court Award while also being inducted into The Order of Barristers, which includes those nationally recognized for outstanding performance in regional, national, and international interscholastic moot court competitions. In 1973, Martindale-Hubbell, Inc. acknowledged the distinction of being selected to the Order by agreeing to list it among the scholastic distinctions included in a lawyer’s curriculum vitae.
Joshua is well versed in matters of personal injury law, medical malpractice, vehicular negligence, employment law, contract law, debt collection, minority shareholder disputes, and premises and products liability.
